Crystal is an illustrator & lettering artist based in Minneapolis/St.Paul. Lettering professionally since 1999, her signature lettering style helped launch the popular "modern calligraphy" trend. Her designs have graced magazine pages, a multitude of giftware & stationery products, advertising campaigns, logos & store fronts, art museum walls, tattooed bodies and an eclectic range of special events from swank Hollywood parties, Park Avenue soirées and Moroccan bashes to intimate mountain nuptials in a yurt.

An expanding collection of digital fonts based on her work are used by designers around the globe. She has created custom fonts for Google, Nestle and Neapolitan. Her personal foundry Tart Workshop has received acclaim as Top Fonts of the Year from MyFonts.com & Fontshop.com

These walls captured me. Inside the Prague Castle walls is a small alley of residences & shops preserved in time. One is a petite movie theater.

Jump from Berlin to Prague. We were greeted by thunderstorms at the old town square and warmed up with goulash under the awnings.

I’m discovering Berlin today via scooter. One of my finds: Deep within the Prussian royal gardens exists this beautifully perfect Summer retreat.
